The AccessComputing Community features students, mentors, partners, faculty, organizations, industry professionals, and staff interested in increasing the participation of people with disabilities in computing careers and education.
AccessComputing Student Team
College and graduate students receive guidance and mentorship through school and into employment, attend computing- and accessibility-related opportunities, communicate with professionals in computing fields, and receive a wealth of other supports through their academic careers.
AccessComputing Mentors
Mentors can be anyone with a background and interest in furthering the careers of those in the AccessComputing Student Team. This is an opportunity to share information, help students network, provide support, help goal setting, and be a role model to future professionals in computing fields.
AccessComputing Partners
Partners connect in online discussions, participate in project training, access professional development, learn inclusive practices, become leaders and mentors in accessibility, and commit to taking steps that will help individuals, organizations, and institutions develop accessible programs and share effective practices nationwide
AccessComputing Community of Practice
AccessComputing hosts a variety Communities of Practice (CoPs) for diverse groups of stakeholders. Communicating via email and other electronic tools, CoP members share their perspectives and expertise and identify practices that promote the participation of people with disabilities in computing fields.
